Sons of Publius

As students of history – and fans of Hamilton – know, Publius was the pen-name under which Alexander Hamilton, John Jay and James Madison wrote a series of essays promoting the soon-to-be-ratified US Constitution.

This site is dedicated to a similar cause: publishing essays that defend and promote ideas necessary to reform our government and return it to a state where it represents the common man (and woman!) once again.  The Founding Fathers would barely recognize our current state of government and be horrified at what it has transformed into.

Reform is the operative word here.  These are common sense arguments laid out to give the public and our elected representatives ideas on how to change course and correct the decisions that have caused our Federal government to stray from the ideals that gave birth to the great experiment that is America.

As Sons (and Daughters!) of Publius – Filii Publii – we should make reasoned arguments that resonate with the citizenry and our leaders.  I look forward to sharing my views and invite all to contribute.

Thank you.

Your humble and obedient servant
